It's time to hang it up

The end of the decade seems like a good time to put this blog to bed. Updates have become few and far between for a couple reasons:

• There are less and less new artists that excite me. I believe this is due to the fact that the sound/style/genre I like is less popular than ever in the UK. 
• Every month that goes by less and less singles are getting a physical release. Most are now just 7" and/or downloads which doesn't interest me.
• And lastly, I simply don't have time to blog anymore.

Thanks to everyone who has read the blog over the years, i really appreciate it.

...bummer. I write a column somewhat similar to your "Out in the US/UK" posts (though focusing on the US), but I know of no other website or blog that does what you have been doing, sifting through all the mainstream crap for the best of what's around.

Wow the end of a decade and what feels like the end of an era as well! I always looked forward to reading your blog - both for the new music and to read what you had to say about Morrissey and his latest releases!

Thanks Torr for the dedication and drive. I think one thing that always made your blog stand out to me was that it has always felt like it was coming from a real fan of the music. A kindred spirit!
