Here's the notable stuff that's out in the UK on Monday June 22nd...
Albums:
The Temper Trap - Conditions [Vid. Quite good debut from Aussie 4-piece.]
Jack Penate - Everything Is New [Vid. His 2nd album. I've never cared about him before, but this album is surprisingly really good!]
Lord Cut-Glass - self-titled [No Vid? Solo debut from ex-Delgados singer Alun Woodward.]
Singles:
Florence + the Machine - "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)" [Vid. 1st single from her debut album.]
Bat For Lashes - "Pearl's Dream" [Vid. 2nd single from her 2nd album.]
Tommy Reilly - "Jackets" [Vid. Debut from English dude.]
The Enemy - "Sing When You're In Love" [Vid. 2nd single from their 2nd album.]
- Slow Club - "It Doesn't Have To Be Beautiful" [Vid. 2nd single from their debut album.]
The Jack Penate is great. I LOVE Body Down. A really distinctive sound to that record (aside from Robert Smithy vox) and pleasingly short.

Yeah, I just listened to the whole Jack Penate album, it is good!
Though I wish it was longer than 9 songs since he takes a wrong left turn on tracks #7 and #8.

I, too, love, love, love this album. Debut was nothing compared to this pop shocker.
