Frightened Rabbit - The Midnight Organ Fight [2nd album from Selkirk 4-piece.]

Alright Torr, you know what I'm going to say. Despite how long it took, or how certain songs changed over the past few years, the album came out pretty solid. I know you've gotta like at least a few songs on it. :)

I gotta say I listened thru the new Ours album once and it's not doing much for me. Perhaps I've just grown and changed and moved on, i shouldn't take it out on Gnecco :-)

What I really think is that if a band from Manchester or Leeds came out with "Worst Thing is Beautiful" or "Willing," then you'd be all over it. :)
I would say though that it may be hard to appreciate this album (which I've come to do) when judging it by Distorted Lullabies or Precious. It's been sooo long since the last album, and many people that kept tabs on the band have stopped. So when they hear this album, they're either like "This is different, but I like it," or "This is no good, it's not DL..."
Anyhow, give it another shoot from time-to-time. It may grow on you.
