Out in the U.S. on Tuesday
Here's the good stuff that's out in the U.S. on Tues April 8th...

Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours [album stream. 2nd album from Melbourne trio. "So Haunted" live vid above. I never paid attention to their first album, but then they were one of the best surprises at SXSW last month. A few tracks on this new album sound a hell of a lot like New Order/Electronic, and that's a good thing. Enjoy!]

The Duke Spirit - Neptune [2nd album from female-fronted London 5-piece. "The Step And The Walk" vid above. Another band who I never paid any attention to their first album, but now this new album turns out to be really quite good!]
also out this week:
- The Long Blondes - Couples [album stream]
- Peter Moren - The Last Tycoon [album stream]
- Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin - Pershing [album stream]
- Tapes 'N Tapes - Walk It Off [album stream]
- Clinic - Do It! [album stream]
- Jim Noir - self-titled [album stream]
- Wye Oak - If Children ["Warning" mp3]
- Foals - Antidotes ["Balloons" mp3]
- Colin Meloy - Sings Live! ["We Both Go Down Together" mp3]
- Shout Out Louds - Impossible EP [Vid]
Cut Copy is brilliant. I saw them twice during SXSW. The Foals new album is outstanding as well. Its one of my favourites of 2008.

Foals are a bit too discordant and abrasive for me.
