UK Chart Report
Here's the good stuff that entered the UK charts on Sun March 23rd...
Elbow score their first-ever top 5 album. Wahoo!
Guillemots score their first-ever top 20 single. Too bad it's for such a crap song!
Boy Kill Boy's new single didn't chart. Doh!
- #20 Guillemots - "Get Over It" [Vid. 1st single from their 2nd album.]
- #41 The Enemy - "This Song Is About You" [Vid. Another single from their debut album.]
- #73 Supergrass - "Bad Blood" [Vid. 1st single from their 6th album.]
These singles, sadly, did not chart:
- Boy Kill Boy - "Promises" [Vid. 2nd single from their 2nd album.]
- #2 Muse - H.A.A.R.P. live CD/DVD
- #5 Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
- nothing of interest
Yes! Great news for Elbow! And nearly all the reviews have been 5 stars (well, they probably always have been for any of their albums). I think I'm gonna get it tomorrow.
Guillemots tuning their sound into a slightly more "pop" direction seems to be paying off. Nice!
