Last weeks gigs

[great pix from Rawk Blog]
Sorry, I forgot to post about the British Sea Power show last week @ Echo.
It was a total disaster. From the very beginning the band was having tech problems with nearly every instrument and amp, so they had to play a bunch of songs with one less guitar than normal, which meant playing older/harder songs (that I don't like) such as "Spirit Of St Louis" and "Apologies To Insect Life." And once the tech problems did get sorted, the voices from both singers didn't sound very good. And the night even got off to an awful start cause openers Colourmusic are terrible.
So all in all, it was 3 kinda crappy shows in 3 days (The Helio Sequence, British Sea Power, Tulsa.) Bummer!
That sucks to hear. I hate it when technical issues ruin a show. The last 2 times i've seen them, they've blown the roof off the building. Hope their next show is better.
