The Verve reunite for album and UK tour!

Holy shit! The Verve original line-up reunite for album and UK tour! What a great fucking day. Discuss.

Fuel Friends has a great post with Richard's '96-'97 demos, many of which ended up on Urban Hymns and his great first solo album Alone with Everybody.

In unrelated news: Gerard Starkie of the late-great Witness has been in involved in some sort of accident "leaving him with a fractured skull, broken nose and a severely stitched up face." Recording of his proper debut solo album will resume once he has healed.

The Thrills Return!

The Thrills have announced details of their third album, Teenager. Peep the odd album cover above. The band have posted two album tracks on their myspace; though not 1st single "Nothing Changes Around Here." You can also download a rehearsal-take of a song ("Good Intentions Rust") that I guess will be a b-side.

No word on when Virgin Records will release the album in the U.S. I'm one of the few people who believe Let's Bottle Bohemia is just as good as So Much for the City.
