Friday bits & bobs

Jamie did the most comprehensive post on MSP's Generation Terrorists ever. Tons of rare video interviews! Meanwhile James Dean Bradfield did a video-commentary for new solo track "Emigre." And you can watch a 25min documentary called The Vanishing Of Richey Manic.
========
It's the 10th anniversary of the death of The Charlatans' Rob Collins.
Blogopshere mixtape:
- Jeremey Enigk - "Been Here Before" and "Damien Dreams" [new tracks]
- Blackbud - "Heartbeat" [One of my fav singles of '05]
- Oasis - "Cigarettes In Hell"
- Stars - "Heart"
Newly-upped Suede on YouTube:
- "Daddy's Speeding" [Bangkok '95]
- "Killing Of A Flashboy" [Dublin]
- "Saturday Night" [acoustic, Oslo '02]
- "Can't Get Enough" [Dublin '96]
- "Savoir Faire" [Live.]
- Phoenix Fest '95: "By The Sea", "Wild Ones", "Metal Mickey", "Young Men" [great b-side!]

That blog with Oasis' Cigarettes In Hell also has Let's All Make Believe, their best b-side of this century.
Oasis' TOP3 b-sides of the 21st century:
1) Let's All Make Believe
2) Pass Me Down The Wine
3) Idler's Dream

Pete: I would TOTALLY agree with that.
Let's All Make Believe is the best B-side from any band....
...other than maybe Travis' "Killer Queen" cover.

I dont know about that.. there are so many many many b-sides of oasis that they are all amazing, some more than the album tracks themselves..
just the b-sides off definitely maybe go down as classics:
Take me away
Dyer wanna be a spaceman?
Sad song
I am the walrus
Fade Away (warchild version)
Whatever
Half the world away
Listen up
I could list all of the ones from Morning glory too cus those are even more amazing:
talk tonight
Acquiesce
Headshrinker
Better People
Rockin Chair
Round Our way
the masterplan
step out
Underneath the sky
Cum on feel the noise
