That new Oasis track

       

Here is the new Oasis track which will be on the Goal! soundtrack.

• "Who put the weight of the world on my shoulders" (4:02)

The song is Noel-sung and full of strings, sounding a lot like his stuff on SOTSOG. It also has a bit of the melody of The Beatles' "Across the Universe."

The soundtrack also includes "Cast No Shadow" (mixed by Unkle) and "Morning Glory" (mixed by Dave Sardy.)

As I said, I think this is a great song. It doesn't seem so great at first but at least to me it just keeps getting better and better.

I don't know why they are constantly leaving their best songs off the albums.

Heheh, yeah it's a long tradition already! Well, at least they'll have something great for the next b-side compilation if this should appear on it.
